Community Guidelines
Mingle Meetup IRL is built on the idea that real connections happen when people actually do things together. These guidelines exist to make sure everyone on the app feels safe, respected, and welcome. They apply to all users, everywhere, at all times.
Be yourself
Authenticity is the foundation of everything Mingle Meetup IRL is about. Use your real photos, represent yourself honestly, and be upfront about who you are and what you are looking for.
- Use photos that genuinely represent how you look today.
- Do not impersonate another person or create a fake profile.
- Do not use someone else's photos without their permission.
- One account per person - multiple accounts are not permitted.
Treat people with respect
Every person on Mingle Meetup IRL deserves to be treated with basic decency. We have zero tolerance for harassment or abuse of any kind.
- Do not send threatening, abusive, or intimidating messages.
- Do not continue contact with someone after they have asked you to stop.
- Do not make comments about someone's appearance, race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or any other characteristic in a way that is demeaning or hateful.
- Rejection is a normal part of life - respond to it gracefully.
Keep it appropriate
Mingle Meetup IRL is an activity-based app, not an adult content site. Keep your profile and your conversations appropriate for a general audience.
- Do not post explicit, pornographic, or sexually graphic content.
- Do not send unsolicited explicit messages or images.
- Profile photos must not contain nudity.
- Do not share violent, graphic, or disturbing content of any kind.
No spam or commercial activity
Mingle Meetup IRL is for genuine connections - not self-promotion, advertising, or solicitation.
- Do not use the app to advertise products, services, or events you have a commercial interest in.
- Do not send the same message to large numbers of people.
- Do not solicit money, gifts, or financial favours from other users.
- Do not recruit people to other platforms, apps, or schemes.
Stay safe
Your safety and the safety of others matters. Some behaviours put people at real risk - we treat these with the utmost seriousness.
- Do not share another person's private information - their address, phone number, workplace, or any other personal details - without their consent.
- Do not use Mingle Meetup IRL to facilitate any illegal activity.
- Do not attempt to meet or contact minors. All users must be 18 or over.
- If someone discloses that they are in danger, take it seriously and encourage them to contact emergency services.

Child safety
Mingle Meetup IRL is strictly for adults, and we have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including any form of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This is one of the most serious violations possible on our app.
- Mingle Meetup IRL is only for people aged 18 and over. Anyone under 18 is not permitted to use the app.
- We prohibit any content, message, or behaviour that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a minor - including grooming, solicitation, or the sharing of child sexual abuse material.
- Any depiction of a minor in a sexually explicit context is illegal and strictly forbidden.
When we become aware of CSAE or CSAM, we act immediately - removing the content, permanently banning the accounts involved, and reporting to Hotline.ie, An Garda Síochána, and, where applicable, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).
To report a concern involving a minor or any child-safety issue, use the in-app report tool on any profile or message, or contact our child-safety team directly at safety@mingle.ie. These reports are treated as our highest priority and handled confidentially.
Reporting concerns
If you see something that violates these guidelines, please report it. You can block or report any user directly from their profile in the app. Every report is reviewed by our team.
You can also contact us directly at safety@mingle.ie. Reports are treated confidentially.
Consequences
Breaching these guidelines may result in a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent removal from Mingle Meetup IRL depending on the severity and frequency of the behaviour. Some violations - such as sharing illegal content or using the app to engage in any form of exploitation - will result in an immediate and permanent ban, and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
We reserve the right to make these judgements at our discretion. If you believe your account has been actioned in error, contact us at hello@mingle.ie.
