Join or start a sea swimming club on Mingle Meetup IRL

Yes. Mingle Meetup IRL has sea swimming clubs created by our members, and sea swimming meetups are the events they organise. If there are no sea swimming clubs near you yet, you can create your own and meet new people near you who want to swim in the sea.

Sea swimming has real risks, such as cold water and currents. Always swim with other people, never alone, stay close to the shore, and check the tide and the weather before the meetup. Follow the advice of the organiser and the local lifeguards, and leave the water if you feel cold.

Yes. Most people arrive at sea swimming meetups without knowing anyone. Joining a sea swimming club is a common way to meet a new group of people and make new friends.

If there are no sea swimming meetups near you yet, you can create your own. It is free to create a sea swimming meetup in the app, and people nearby will see your meetup and can request to join.

In the app, create a new event and choose swimming as the activity. Add the location, the start time and a short description, such as the distance and the water conditions. People nearby who are interested in swimming will see your event and can request to join.

No. Mingle Meetup IRL is completely free to download and use, and creating a sea swimming meetup is free too. Some meetups have shared costs. You can discuss them in the event's group chat before the meetup.

In the app, open the Clubs screen and create a new sea swimming club. Enter the details, such as your club's name, location and description, and then invite people. Anyone nearby can find your club and request to join.
